A new rear disc brake as part of the combined braking system, a fuel injected E4 engine, and new carbon fibre look plastics, bring the Assault back into the Lexmoto range with a vengeance.Still as capable over tricky terrain with its chunky tyres and smooth overhead cam engine set up, the Assault is enhanced with its sleek fairing design and quirky nose beak mudguard. So, if you`re looking for a sure footed ride in comfort, the Assault is an excellent contender.

Pretty much what I expected, runs well, gets me througn the traffic. Nice touch is the extended warranty, brilliant value overall. Just two minor points, a wrong bolt in the exhaust and a missing clip for the speedo cable. Raises a few comments for its' styling. Not many Japanese bikes in this class can boast some of the features on tne the Assault. I would reccomend it anyone who wants a true bike style commuter

Can't really complain for the price that I've paid. There are some slight issues, for example the back brake is practically useless, but I think this is a manufacturing error, and is being looked at by the dealer. Quite a nippy little thing, nice and light. Coming up to the first 1000 miles and it hasn't died on me yet!
